INVESTIGATING: Report of gas odor near Wallisville extending towards Woodforest Blvd.

At Sheldon Community Fire & Rescue, with our Employee Spotlight, we aim to accomplish a few things:
1. Put a face to the firefighters who serve within the community and
2. Show our great appreciation to our members within the department with a little recognition.

In this spotlight we would like to introduce FF Davide Secci ("Seh-chee"). FF Secci comes to us via way of Aviano, Italy--located in the northern part of the country.

· A little bit about him: Secci considers himself an easygoing, hard-working professional, dedicated to his work, personal growth and being an involved, supportive father. He has been with SCFR for about three years.
· Hobbies: To relax FF Secci enjoys riding his motorcycle, playing pickleball and disc golf.
· Firefighter history: What drew him to firefighting was his father. He was a firefighter for 38 years and admired how happy he was to go to work. He saw the strong bonds he had with his co-workers. Seeing the pride and dedication he had for the job inspired him to follow in his footsteps.
· Before working at Sheldon: FF Secci was in charge of all maintenance and operation of a golf course for about eight years.
· Advice if you want to begin working as a Public Servant: "Public service is about making a difference, not making money."
· A little message from Secci: "Be nice, life's too short to be grumpy." Bellissimo!
