A busy few days for our crews. On sat morning at approximately 6:28 am D23 and E23 were dispatched to a commercial vehicle fire on the Crosby Fwy at Sheldon Rd. D23 arrived on scene and found a trash truck that had dumped its burning load on the side of the Crosby Freeway. Our crews got the fire under control quickly and no injuries were reported.
On Sat evening D23 and E33 were dispatched to an MVA. E13 was dispatched later to land Life Flight. Our thoughts are with all those involved in the accident.
Earlier this morning at approximately 11:28 am Sheldon Community Fire and Rescue was dispatched to a non occupied building fire. The fire was brought quickly under control. With no injuries reported. Our thoughts are with those that had any losses during the fire.
Great work by all the crews at each of these incidents. Below our photos of both fires.
