The department has been in service since 1955, and began with the merger of 2 departments.
The men and women that make up the department are your neighbors, friends, and relatives, and are actively involved in the community. We are striving to make this a better place to work, live and raise your family.

Cloverfield FD Assist with Residential Fire
At approximately 5:20 a.m. Sheldon Community Fire and Rescue D33 and B-Shift E13 were dispatched to assist Cloverleaf FD with a residential fire. Crews were faced with heavy fire conditions. The fire was soon controlled. This was the first fire of 2018 for Sheldon Community Fire and Rescue.
